Stella Grobe

Stella
joined the historical society in the late 1960s and has been an
active member in various areas throughout the years. Her roots take
her back to Maryland where she was born, coming to Lee County,
Illinois as a young girl. Although retired for many years, she still
maintains an active schedule each week. Stella is currently serving
as our society's treasurer and overseeing operations at the Research
Center. Her involvement with the Loveland Community House and
Loveland Museum takes up the rest of her daily time. She still finds
time for her hobbies and interests; which are reading, bridge club
and collecting old history.
